MINSK (QHA) -

The issue of debts payment for water consumed in certain districts of Luhansk region is resolved at the meeting of the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) in Minsk, Daria Olifer, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian representative in TCG and the second President of Ukraine Leonid Kuchma reported in Facebook.

“Within the economic subgroup it was possible to agree on the partial repayment of the debt for the water consumed in the ORLO (certain districts of  Luhansk region – Ed.). It should be noted that, despite the heavy debt, the water utility Popasnyansky Vodokanal continues to supply water to the part of Luhansk region not controlled by Ukraine".

Olifer went on saying that the meeting focused on the security issue as a key factor in solving all other components of the Minsk agreements.
Furthermore,  Ukraine has once again voiced concern about the growing aggression towards the staff of the OSCE SMM in the
part of Donbas not controlled by Ukraine .

“OSCE observers should be provided unimpeded access to the entire territory of Ukraine, including the Ukrainian-Russian border. It is necessary to create a special working subgroup for further settlement of the border control issue”.

Earlier QHA reported that, according to OSCE Chairman Sebastian Kurz, the number of OSCE SMM observers in Ukraine will be increased from 700 to 1,000 people.
