MOSCOW (QHA) -

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation issued tenders for the supply of security systems for military facilities in the annexed Crimea, according to the information on the portal of state procurement of the Russian defense department.

It is noted that the ministry will purchase a complex of technical security equipment Galaktika 1 SV. The complex is intended for "equipping the facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation of I, II, III categories stationed on the territory of the Republic of Crimea."

A total of 535.97 million rubles was allocated for procurement. Works on "supply, installation and commissioning of the complex" should be completed by November 10, 2020.

The producing company's website indicates that the complex Galaktika 1 SV is designed to provide comprehensive security for the facilities of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation based on the use of optimized components and systems of unified products integrated on a single software platform.

The complex includes a set of perimeter detection facilities, technical surveillance equipment, an automatic fire alarm system, a set of means for detecting prohibited items and substances, as well as a security lighting system, a set of communication and ringing-and-signalling alarms.

Earlier, on May 31, People's Deputy of Ukraine Dmitry Tymchuk stated that Ukraine and the West mainly perceive the Crimea not as an escalating military threat, but as a "captured beach".

According to him, information about the number of tourists and the condition of the resorts "distracts" from the main position - about the number of military exercises on the peninsula and the buildup of the military grouping of Russia in the Crimea, the Sea of Azov, and in general in the responsibility of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation.
