In the framework of countering modern cyber threats, Ukraine is preparing to establish a single national cybersecurity center based on the experience of Turkey with the assistance of NATO.

The project will be implemented with the participation of the National Technical University of Ukraine (NTUU), the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI), the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Defense, the SBU, the State Communications Committee, the Department of Cyber Police of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Cyber Security Academy, the CERT Cys Emergency Response Center And "Ukroboronprom".

The specialists of the Turkish firm Havelsan will be consultants.

Earlier, in June last year, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko signed a decree "On the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity", to provide the coordination for activities of Ukrainian national security and defense entities.
