From the beginning of the day on April 20, militants of terrorist groups fired on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 8 times in the area of the Antiterrorist Operation (ATO), using the BM-21 Grad rocket system for the first time in 2018, according to the press center of the ATO headquarters.
As a result of shelling, a Ukrainian serviceman was killed. Another one was injured. He was provided with the necessary medical care.
The terrorists fired "Grads" at the positions of the ATO forces in Donetsk direction near Lebedinsky.
“The shelling began at about six in the morning and lasted more than an hour. During this time, the invaders fired 40 missiles at Ukrainian positions,” the press center noted.
The headquarters of the ATO recalled that the last time the militants opened fire from the "Grad" was on December 18-19, 2017 in the Zaitseve area.
QHA reported that during the day of April 19, militants in the ATO zone fired at the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces 35 times, as a result of which two Ukrainian servicemen were injured.
