On December 21, in the area of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) in the Donbas, 16 violations of ceasefire regime by terrorist groups were recorded. As a result of shelling one Ukrainian soldier was killed and two others were injured, according to the report of the ATO headquarters press center on Facebook.

“Totally, over the past day, 16 cases of ceasefire violations by the Russian-terrorist forces were recorded. If required, the Ukrainian soldiers reacted with adequate return fire at the aggressor.
Unfortunately, as a result of enemy shelling, one soldier of the ATO forces was killed, two more were injured," reads the report.

On the Luhansk direction, the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine near settlement Krymske were fired by the sniper of militants. Near Svetlodarsk, the terrorists used grenade launchers and large-caliber machine guns.

In the Donetsk direction militants used 82-mm and 120-mm caliber mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns and tank armament.

At the approaches to the Vodiane, Avdiivka and Kamenka terrorists fired mortars and infantry weapons.

Earlier, on December 20, 15 cases of ceasefire violations by militants of terrorist groups were recorded, as a result of attacks, one Ukrainian soldier was killed and four others were injured. Also, more than twenty militants’ mines of various calibers went off near Butovka mine.
