According to Ukrainian Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin “Russia has no need in Donbas by definition”.
"Russia needs destabilization of Ukraine and the Ukrainian project, since our way forward, our success will be reflected like in the mirror in what is happening in Russia - the strengthening of authoritarianism and Stalinism," the Minister noted.
According to Minister Klimkin, in order to destabilize the situation in Ukraine, Russia can resort to large-scale armed provocations.
"Of course, armed provocations [on the side of Russia- Ed.] are possible, even large-scale ones. We are ready for this, and our partners were also warned about it. Of course, we will repel it, as foreign policy is inseparable from what we do in the security sphere," Klimkin informed.
Earlier, Klimkin stated the need to ensure a gradual transition of the occupied Donbas to international control.
According to him, Ukraine and the United States are in close coordination to ensure pressure on the Russian Federation for the gradual transition of the occupied Donbas to international control.
