The Black Sea Fleet of Russia was brought into a state of high combat readiness.
Reportedly, Russia expects provocations from the Ukrainian side during the World Cup. Thus, the Black Sea Fleet near the occupied Crimea is on alert.
The invaders sent additional ships and combat sorties of the Navy aviation in the area of the Azov Sea. The state of high combat readiness will remain until July 31, though the World Cup will end on July 15.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation denies that the Black Sea Fleet has been put on high alert.
