On March 5, in the Russia- occupied Sevastopol, the occupiers conducted maneuvers to work out measures in detecting underwater objects, the Head of the information support department of the Russian Navy Vyacheslav Trukhachev stated.  

“During the period of flight shifts, crews of the helicopters that had arrived ito the training site, implemented training search for the submarines of the hypothetical enemy. Specialists of the aviation commandant's office have fulfilled the tasks on organizing safe flights of helicopters, providing them with communications and the necessary data for flights," the representative of the occupiers said.

According to Trukhachev, the crews of Ka-27PL helicopters from the mixed naval aviation regiment of the Naval Aviation and Air Defense of the Black Sea Fleet took part in the military exercise. 

Reportedly, in the occupied Crimea around the settlement of Feodosiya, the occupiers were to test the sea missile and torpedo weapons.
