Two Russian border guards, who had been detained in Ukraine on the night of June 30, lost their route near the Crimean town of Armyansk and accidentally got to the neighboring country, propaganda website “Notes” reported, referring the FSB press service.

The Russian government explained that the incident occurred during the exercises on the Russian-Ukrainian border.

“The return of Russian border guards is being solved with the involvement of the border representatives of Russia and Ukraine”, according to the report.

Earlier, on the night of June 30, border guards of the Kherson detachment, along with soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson region, detained two persons without documents on the Perekopsky Bay shore. Later it was revealed that the detainees were servicemen of the border service of the Russia FSB.
