NAKHCHIVAN (QHA) -

In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the governments of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, the joint tactical exercises involving troops of the Armed Forces of the two countries began in Nakhchivan on June 12.

The purpose of the exercises is to develop troop coordination through the exchange of experience between the Armed Forces, to achieve the interaction of the military divisions of the two countries by developing the capabilities of conducting joint operations, according to the Defense Ministry website.

The exercises will last until June 16.
