In the occupied Crimea, at a meeting of the so-called antiterrorist commission and the operational headquarters, the issues of preventing terrorism and readiness to action in the aggravation of the situation on the territory of the peninsula were considered. The leader of the collaboration government of the peninsula Sergei Aksyonov informed about the measures on his Facebook page on April 27.

Collaborator ordered to conduct antiterrorist exercises, as close to reality as possible.

“The results of the inspections indicate significant shortcomings in the organizational management of the operative groups. The plans for the implementation of priority measures were often formal, patterned, not taking into account the specifics of the situation on the territory of operational responsibility and, therefore, could not be an effective tool in the hands of the command to organize duties effectively," he wrote.

According to him, the interaction between the so-called antiterrorist commission and the operational headquarters with the executive authorities and local self-government plays an important role.

Earlier the Russian security forces tightened security measures in the annexed Crimea in March because of the alleged "threat of terrorist attacks from Ukraine." The invaders increased security at the polling stations, the administrative border and across the Crimea in general
