Since mid-December the Polish railway operator PKP Intercity introduces a new schedule of international trains. Among the innovations - the launch of direct communication between Warsaw and Lviv, reports Rynek Kolejowy.
- Direct cars from the cities of Wroclaw and Warsaw will go to the city of Lviv through Krakow. Their schedule will be changed no longer, said March Zemská, a spokeswoman with PKP Intercity.
According to her, this information hasn’t entered the schedule yet. The cars from Warsaw will be included in Wrocław- Lviv international train set. Passing through the city of Krakow, the trains from Wrocław and Warsaw will arrive in Lviv at 6.03 a.m. or 7.15 a.m., depending on the date. Train schedule in the opposite direction has not been given to the public yet.
The first trip is scheduled for December, 19. The route will be served via Ukrainian cars purchased in Poland.
As of now, only one night train "Lviv Express" goes from Lviv to Poland. It daily departs from Wroclaw at 4.54 p.m. (local time), goes through Krakow and arrivies in Lviv at 6:03 a.m. or 7.15 a.m. (depending on date). It departs from Lviv at 10.59 p.m. and arrives in Wroclaw at 10.55 a.m. (local time).
