Turkish budget Pegasus Airlines will launch regular direct flights from Kyiv to Ankara, Avianews reports.

The flights will be operated through the Ukrainian airport Zhulyany 4 times a week starting from December 6. In addition to possible connections of the flights to Izmir and Istanbul in Ankara, connections of Kyiv flights through Ankara to Bodrum (Turkey), Ercan (Cyprus), Amman (Jordan) and Erbil (Iraq) may also be available.

The minimum price on return airfares Kyiv-Ankara is $ 91, taking into account the transportation of luggage: Flight ticket Kyiv-Istanbul with connections in Ankara - $ 125 and Kyiv-Antalya with transfers in Ankara and Istanbul - $ 180. 

The main purpose of the launch of the budget airline flights is to increase the maximum number of connections through the Turkish capital.

It was reported earlier that the Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) opened its winter season by launching a new direct flight Kyiv – Ankara on October 30.
