(QHA) - Crimean Resorts and Tourism Minister Oleksandr Liev considers signing of a Memorandum of understanding between the State Agency of Ukraine for tourism and resorts and the National Tourism Administration of China significant, in particular, for Crimea.
The minister has said about this in social network Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
“We have been preparing for this event for two years. Without this memorandum Ukraine could not receive tourist groups from China,” Liev noted.
According to him, the Crimean Resorts and Tourism Ministry studied requests of tourists from China and is ready to offer various tours to them.
“We have studied their requirements and we have something to offer to them in Crimea. First, this is historical, educational tourism. Chinese tourist operators are ready to purchase tours to the places of heroic glory of the former USSR: these are legendary objects of the Great Patriotic War, monuments of the Soviet epoch, space program objects and many others,” Liev noted.
As reported, within the frames of the visit of President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych to China, the Memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Agency of Ukraine for tourism and resorts and the National Tourism Administration of China.
