MOSCOW (QHA) -

The Russian tour operator "Natalie Tours", which sold vouchers to the occupied Crimea, canceled all tours, according to the company's CEO Vladimir Vorobyov.

He noted that the reason for this decision was the reduction of outbound tourism because of the World Cup in Russia.

However, Vorobiev further noted that the company is not going to suspend its activities.

In turn, the Executive Director of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia Maya Lomidze said that the tour operator should incur all costs associated with the returning of tourists from abroad and refunding money for already prepaid tours.

Earlier, the Kremlin-controlled Chairman of the State Council of the Crimea on the Resort and Tourism Complex Aleksei Chernyak claimed that since the beginning of the year 1.5 million peoplehave allegedly visited the occupied Crimea. According to him, the annexed peninsula was visited by 26.5% more people than last year.
