ANKARA (QHA) -

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Turkey reported that the number of Ukrainian tourists is on rise in 2016 as well. In July of this year, Turkey was visited by 173 785 Ukrainian citizens that is 70% more than in July 2015.

Over January - July, the number of tourists increased by 52% compared to the same period last year.

The number of Ukrainian tourists has been the way up since the beginning of 2016. This fact for the second month in a row does not allow Ukraine to leave the top 10 leading countries on the tourist inflow to Turkey. According to the recent ranking, Ukraine is ahead of the United States, Azerbaijan, Greece and the Netherlands.

Istanbul, Antalya and Muğla still remain among the most popular tourist cities.
