Only a quarter of all beaches in the occupied Crimea are ready for the holiday season, according to the statement of the "Deputy Chairperson of the Ministerial Council of the Republic of Crimea" Larysa Opanasyuk, who oversees tourism with the self-proclaimed "authorities" of the Crimea, at a meeting with the so-called "Heads" of the Crimean municipalities.

“Not much time left till May 1, but we can say that out of 428 beaches only 109 are prepared for the holiday season.”

The Crimean "official" specified that the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Protection and Human Welfare Rospotrebnadzor issued the following number of sanitary epidemic regulations in the Crimean cities: Alushta - 13 out of 97 beaches, Yevpatoria - 32 out of 95, Kerch - 3 out of 8, Saki - 3 out of 10, Sudak - 21 out of 27, Feodosia - 1 of 43 , Yalta - 14 of 88, Bakhchysarai district - 16 of 18, Leninsky district - 0 of 7, Saksky district - 1 of 16, Simferopol district - 1 of 10, Chernomorsky district - 4 of 8.

Earlier, in mid-March, the so-called "Director of the Department of Municipal Economy" in the occupied Sevastopol Andrei Chibisov stated the need to lease all the city beaches to private entrepreneurs for their subsequent improvement.
