Since 2015 the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Crimea has examined 116 investment applications related to the development of resorts and tourism, to the value of RUB 67.2 billion, reports the press service of the Ministry of Resorts and Tourism of Republic of Crimea, citing Sergey Strelbitskiy, Minister of Resorts and Tourism of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to him, these figures underline the interest of investors to the South coast of Crimea and western regions of the peninsula.
Thus, 19 projects amounting to RUB 13.2 billion have already passed the mutual approval stage and 8 of them, worth more than RUB 4.4 billion, have been discussed at the meeting of the Council for Improving the Investment Climate of the Republic of Crimea.
At the same time, three investment agreements of the projects approved have already been signed, in particular, the project providing ‘Icarus’ recreational and sports camp modernization, as well as creation of Oriental Medicine Center on its base of ( the town of Rybachye, Alushta City), the project on Yubileyniy health resort reconstruction and development ( the city of Yevpatoria), and the project on reconstruction and development of Rainbow health resort for children and their parents ( the city of Yevpatoria).
