The 23rd International Fair named “Crimea. Resorts. Tourism. 2014” starts February 25 at the Yalta Intourist hotel complex, Ukrinform reports.
Deputy Chairman of the Crimean Council of Ministers Heorhiy Psariov has said about this at a meeting on preparation of the fair, the Information Policy Department of the Crimean Council of Ministers informs.
“A special accent was made on development of the event and active tourism, which are able to expand the frames of the resort season in Crimea. Therefore, a decision was taken to dedicate the main tourist event of the year to these priority trends,” Heorhiy Psariov stressed.
540 exponents from 25 world countries are planning to participate in the fair. In total, about 14,500 participants are expected.
In turn, Crimean Resorts and Tourism Minister Oleksandr Liev said that one of central events at the fair will be the Third International Black Sea Tourist Forum. This year, it will be dedicated to creation of joint tourist products of the Black Sea countries for residents of China, Japan, South Korea, Canada and the U.S.
