Crimea will offer visa-free visits for Chinese travelers.
Deputy head of Russia’s Federal Tourism Agency (Rostourism), Vladimir Fomin, announced this during a roadshow in Beijing called “Successful Russia”.
The new Crimean minister for Health Resorts and Tourism, Yelena Yurchenko, declared her support afterwards.
“Tourists from China are fond of cultural and educational tourism, and they like our cultural treasures. Crimea abounds with these sightseeing attractions”, -she noted, according to ITAR-TASS.
Interestingly, she did not mention the beaches, which are the main attraction of Crimea.
