The youngest participant was the 16-year old Daria Abramova from Yalta, who said that her parents don’t mind her interest. This year, during the two days of competition, racers had to overcome more than 50 km of Yalta track. The race took place on 14 sections, each of which was dedicated to famous Ukrainians. Fog and rain had complicated the task; several crews didn’t get to the finish line. The winner became the crew of Ukrainian racers Alexander Salyuk Jr. and Evgeniy Chervonenko, who ran for Kazakhstan. The second place took Kyiv racers Valeriy Gorban and steersman Vladimir Korsya. The third place was taken by crew from Odessa – Yuri Kochmar and Sergey Koval. This year the event was accompanied by a concert program. Popular Ukrainian and Russian artists performed each day. As reported earlier, Yalta Rally takes place since 2005. In 2010 it was included in the calendar of Intercontinental Rally Challenge championship.
