In 4 days Ukrainian athletes have already won 49 medals at the Paralympic Games in Rio.
Our team has been ranked 3rd in the overall medal standings, trailing behind only the British (56 medals) and Chinese (92 medals), according to the official website of the Games.
Yesterday, Ukrainian athletes won 12 medals, 6 of them are gold, and set a world record.
Our swimmers took all the medals in the 200 metre Individual medley event. Denis Dubrov won "gold" with a score of 2: 06.87 that so far is the best result in the world. Maxim Kripak won "silver" (2: 08.10), while Dmitry Vanzenko - "bronze" (2: 10.48).
On the morning of September 12 the Ukrainian national team has 18 gold, 13 silver and 18 bronze medals.
