(QHA) - The preliminary competition for the 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil is drawing to a close.
Ukraine for the first time since August 2009 has entered the TOP 20 in the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking updated on October 17. It entered the list after beating Poland and San-Marino, reports Ukrinform.
The Blue-Yellows' coefficient over the last month rose by 72 points and totals 871 points, making Ukraine to climb from 26th to 20th.
In addition to Ukraine, the TOP 20 includes Spain (1513), Germany (1311), Argentina (1266), Colombia (1178), Belgium (1175 , Uruguay (1164), Switzerland (1138), Italy (1136), Netherlands (1136), England (1080), Brazil (1078), Chile (1051), USA (1040), Portugal (1036), Greece (983), Bosnia and Herzegovina (925), Cote d' Ivoire (917), Croatia (901) and Russia (874).
As reported, the next FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking will be published after completion of World Cup qualifying on 28 November 2013.
