The delegation from the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), headed by Frantisek Laurinetsom, has refused to arrive in Russia-annexed Crimea.
According to the press attache of the Crimean Football Union (CFS) Andrei Cherny, the visit of the delegation has been postponed for an indefinite period.
- Yes, indeed, we have received information that the visit has been postponed indefinitely, but still not canceled. For our part, everything is ready for the visit, he said.
The reason for postponement has not been specified yet.
UEFA delegation was to arrive in Russia-annexed Crimea Oct.3 for opening of the Crimean Football Union’s headquarters in the city of Simferopol.
