August 20, 2015, saw FC Zorya of Luhansk square off against FC Legia of Warsaw at the Lobanovsky stadium in Kiev.
The match was marred by clashes of the teams’ fans that started outside the Livoberezhna metro station the previous day.
The uncompromising standoff, made even more intense by the fans’ clashes, continued unrelentingly for 90 minutes. FC Zorya was clearly outclassed and lost 1:0 to Legia FC after the only goal of the game scored from a corner kick.
A return match will be played at Warsaw’s Pepsi Arena stadium on August 27, 2015.
To make it to the next round of the League, FC Zorya will have to score a minimum of two goals.
