Crimean wrestler became Kuresh World Champion

Crimean Tatar wrestler Umer Bilyalov has won the title of Kuresh (national wrestling) World Champion, executive director of Crimean federation of “Kuresh” wrestling Enver Useinov said to QHA.

In addition, two other wrestlers from Crimea-- Zarema Seytosmanova and Izzet Kadyrov-- won the bronze in the    tournament, which took place Nov 19-24 in Ashkhabad, Turkmenistan.

“We have won one gold and two bronze medals. It is for the first time when Crimean wrestler gained the tile of World Champion”- Useinov noted.

Crimean sportsmen completed in 3 weight categories: Umer Bilyalov- 68 kg; Izet Kadyrov-62 kg; Zarema Seitosmanova-76 kg.

On the whole, Crimean team won the 3rd place in the tournament, while Turkmenistan taking the first place and Russia taking the second.

Enver Useinov also noted, he and the presidents of federations of other countries have agreed on cooperation in the sphere of sport, as well as communication of experience.
