The Crimean Tatar athlete Alperen Alkan is an active member of the Youth Commission with the Cultural and Mutual Assistance Association of Crimean Tatars. This year he represented Turkey at the World Horseback Archery, which was held in the Korean city of Seoul, the Republic and brought "gold". Alperen Alkan won gold for Turkey.
The athlete shared in social networks the news on his victory, great joy, as well as the words of gratitude for the support. He quoted the master in this sport Yrfana Gyurdal, "Do not think about medals. Just do what you do well. Then God will reward you."
General office of the Cultural and Mutual Assistance Association of Crimean Tatars congratulated Alper Alkan on the victory in the international competition, saying they are incredibly proud of such a member of the Youth Commission.
In addition Alper Alkan, the Turkish national team includes Alp Kayserili and Emrah Koch. The competition has been arranged by the World Federation of Horseback Archery, located in South Korea.
Recently, a Crimean Tatar Ezgi Basharan has also won prizes at competitions in Turkey in a similar kind of sport, but without the horse.
