Today, the UEFA Congress in Athens announced the host city of the Champions League for 2017/18 season - Ukraine's capital city Kyiv, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko posted on Facebook.
“The 2018 Champions League final will be held in Ukraine! Just now, UEFA has taken a decision to hold the final match of the 2018 Champions League in Kyiv. This is great news for all of us, and especially - for the Ukrainian fans. I am convinced that we will hold the final at the highest level!” Poroshenko wrote.
