KYIV (QHA) -
Within the framework of the worldwide campaign "Where is Erwin?", dedicated to the Crimean Tatars who have been missing, killed and arrested in the occupied Crimea, an appeal to the UN, the Council of Europe, the European Parliament and the OSCE is being prepared, the QHA correspondent reports.

The appeal intends collecting more than one million signatures.
“Forcible disappearances and killings of young Crimean Tatars, numerous attacks and searches in homes, the ban on the activity of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people and the prosecution of its members and civil activists, unmotivated mass detentions of Muslims, the ban of independent Crimean Tatar media this is all a conscious policy of the ethnocide of the Crimean Tatar people by government bodies of the Russian Federation since the beginning of the military invasion and the temporary occupation of the Crimea," the statement said.
Thus, the Crimean Tatars urge international institutions to promote the complete liberation of the Crimea, the withdrawal of Russian troops from the peninsula, to create an International Tribunal for crimes committed by the Russian Federation against Ukraine and its citizens, in particular the Crimean Tatars, and to act as international guarantors for the protection, preservation and development of the Crimean Tatar People.

Vice-President of the World Congress of Crimean Tatars Lenur Islyamov called for an open campaign, which should be based on an online petition.
