The General Directorate of Russia’s EMERCOM in Crimea has opened a warming centre in the city of Saki. Tent with a heater and hot tea is located near the city's central square with a generator and chopped firewood placed at the entrance.

Here, people can not only warm, but also get necessary assistance, including medical. If necessary, an ambulance can be called for those who suffered from cold weather.

Monday the air temperature in the city dropped to - 11. Today the temperature in Saki is - 6.

In total, 61 warming centers including 16 by the Russian Emergencies Ministry have been opened in Crimea. 10 of them are in the Crimean capital - the city of Simferopol. As of January 3, these centers have helped 52 men.
