In Lugansk region, the SSU (Security Service of Ukraine) has detained a van carrying hundreds of cell phones intended for residents of the Russia-occupied territories.

According to the SSU press service, a van was stopped in the village of Raygorodok, Novoaydarsky district, Lugansk region. When inspected, the law enforcement officers found a large number of illegal goods - hundreds of mobile phones, including the tactical models, couplings for telephone cable distribution systems, automatic single-phase voltage regulators. The van also contained health and beauty aids worth 50 thousand hryvnia.

According to a driver, he received the goods from unknown persons at the Severodonetsk bus station. SSU investigators have opened criminal proceedings under Part. 2 Sec. 258-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
