Yesterday, on July 26, a large-scale motocross in support of the Crimean Tatars and Ukrainian Unity started in Uzhgorod, according to the motoaction’s community on Facebook.

According to organizers, the purpose of the flash mob is to carry the Ukrainian and Crimean Tatar flags together across the country to the administrative border with Crimea in Chongar. Despite the fact that the organizers of motoaction received assistance from local and regional administrations, as well as from the Chairman of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis Refat Chubarov, they stress that motocross is not a PR stunt and does not bear political overtones.

- It should draw overall attention to the fact that we need to fight, to act, to do something for the integrity of the country and not just engage in idle speculation, - the organizers summarize.

Motocross has already run through several cities and local motor clubs are gradually joining.

- We hope that we will be joined by about 250-300 bikers from all over Ukraine, - one of the rally organizers Igor Kostyuchenko said.

This morning, the lead motocross organizer Nikolai Spiridonov posted a photograph of the participants with flags and the caption: "Good morning! Starting a new day with gathering of motorcyclists in Lviv. "

He also informed about the place of tomorrow's meeting in Kyiv.

- Dear Kiev motorcyclists, we are gathering tomorrow, July 27, 2016 at 16:30 near the check station of Kyiv exit road  towards Zhitomir, let’s greet Western Ukraine! All be tucked! - Spiridonov called.
