Ukrainian Muslims will celebrate Uraza Bayram

QHA - On Thursday, August 8, Kyiv Muslims will take part in the sacramental morning prayer at the mosque of the Islamic Cultural Center, dedicated to the end of the holy month of Ramadan and the coming of Uraza Bayram holiday. Similar celebrations will be held in mosques and Islamic centers of Luhansk, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Odessa, Zaporozhye, Vinnitsa and Crimea, informs press service of the All-Ukrainian association of public organizations “Al-Raid”. Uraza Bayram is a great holiday marking the end of the Muslim fasting during the holy month of Ramadan. It is one of the biggest holidays in Islam, which is celebrated by Muslims all around the world. The celebration involves visiting relatives and friends, giving gifts and helping the poor. The meaning of celebrating the end of Ramadan is to strengthen the spiritual growth of a Muslim in his faith in God and living according His teachings.
