Ukraine has been ranked 59th among 60 nations in the Best Countries rankings unveiled by the U.S News. The countries were evaluated using a set of 65 attributes, including Quality of Life, Labor Market, Education, Culture, Openness for Business and so on. Attributes by nation were presented in a survey of more than 16,000 people from across the globe.
Germany was ranked first, with Canada and Great Britain landing the 2nd and 3rd spots. They were followed by the USA, Sweden, Australia, Japan, France and other countries. Russia landed a surprising 24th spot, while Poland never made it to the list. Ukraine was ranked 59th - between Iran and Algeria.
Since each of the countries was ranked using a set of different attributes, it is easy to see where Ukraine scored the highest and lowest.
Ukraine scored the highest by the Most Influential Country attribute, which includes the military sector of the economy, international relations and so on, landing the 24th spot among 60 nations. Ukraine also performed well in terms of the Openness for Business.
However, it did poorly in terms of Quality of Living, Bureaucracy and Cultural Influence, scoring the lowest and thus landing the 59th spot.
