Ukraine and Russia to resume cargo transit

Transit has been resumed as of February 25, 2016.

As of February, 25 cargo transit between Ukraine and Russia has been resumed, reported a number of Ukrainian media.

Thus, Ukraine has adopted the proposal by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation to resume cargo transit from midnight February 25.

Meanwhile, the social activists and organizers of the blockade of Russian trucks in the Carpathians "Carpathian Sich" claimed they want Ukrainian government to reconsider its decision to resume transit traffic of Russian trucks through Ukraine. They noted they may continue blocking Russian trucks that travel through Ukraine.
