Ukraine accumulated UAH 10 bln for Donbas restoration

Ukraine alone has accumulated funds for the restoration of damaged areas in Donbass. President Petro Poroshenko told the Ukrainian TV channels during his visit to Zaporozhye region Oct. 14:

- As of now, the Ukrainian government has accumulated more than 10 billion, which it can earmark to restore the infrastructure. Our European and American partners will add 4-5 times more.

According to the Independent news bureau, Germany is ready to assign EUR 500 million for restoration of the Eastern Ukraine.

Currently, the Ukrainian government has USD 10 billion intended for restoration of damaged infrastructure in Lugansk and Donetsk regions. Oct. 10 USD 2.5 billion has been allocated for Donbas restoration by the Verkhovna Rada from the local budgets of the Russia-occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
