Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu and his wife Sare Davutoglu visited one of the retirement homes in Istanbul due to the International Mother's Day.
Kissing the hands of older women, the Prime Minister presented each of them with red roses and asked to pray for him.
During the visit, the Prime Minister also heard pleasant words of gratitude. One of the residents of the retirement home asked Ahmet Davutoglu not to leave the post:
- Thank you very much. I ask you not to step down from the post of Prime Minister as you are the best Prime Minister.
Davutoglu, in turn, answered, "Is that so? Let it be what is best for us. Pray. "
Ahmet Davutoglu said he would quit as the Head of the Turkey’s ruling party.
Turkish Prime Minister decided to stand down on the eve of the Congress of the AKR ruling party, scheduled for May 22.
