The incident occurred near the Gendarmerie building in the city of Hani, according to Reuters.
“Two soldiers were killed and about 50 people were injured in a car bomb attack near the Gendarmerie building in the city of Hani,” says the statement.
As it became known, a car bomber drove into the Gendarmerie building and the dormitory for families of security forces officers.
After the attack, the Turkish security forces immediately launched a security operation in the city.
Local authorities blame Kurdish militants for the attack.
It was reported earlier that General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces reported the destruction of some positions of Kurdish terrorists, shelters and caves in the area of Qandil and the cities of Tunceli and Yüksekova.
