The adjournment of the first hearing in ‘26 February’ case has been announced at the Supreme Court of Crimea in Simferopol.
“Now the court hearing is adjourned. Listeners are writing a statement addressed to Igor I. Radionov, the Chairman of the Supreme Court, that their rights have been violated, as they have not been allowed in open public session. In their statement, they demand that a spacious hall was provided by the next court hearing, given the high public interest in the process. They also ask to apply appropriate measures to the judge who did not allow listeners into the court session. The statement also indicates the violation of Art. 123 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation, as well as the norms of international law,” the eyewitnesses from the courthouse report.
It was reported earlier that Ahtem Chiygoz was illegally detained in the framework of the case ‘February 26’ on January 29, 2015. He was separated from his family, friends and the people, and has been behind bars for almost a year. Despite the interrogations, searches and imprisonment, Ahtem aga shows all of us iron self-control, dignity and courage.
