Oksana Bizenkova, an expert in international projects, was the moderator of the training. Artem Amel'chenko, a member of the Institute, and Ekaterina Smirnova, a lawyer, acted as trainer and lecturer.

The norm and essence of the procedure and its implementation mechanisms provided by the current legislation were considered in the first part of the training. The second part of it was devoted to the lustration of judges, which is particularly acute issue in our country.

Ekaterina Smirnova shared her own experiences of the work in the Interim Commission for the verification of judges of general jurisdiction. During the final stage, Oksana Bizenkova refined the methods of influence and control over lustration, which can be used by social activists and media representatives.

The attendees received theoretical and practical knowledge, as well as learnt much about the international experience and positive changes in the Ukrainian lustration process. The experts took the initiative to keep in touch with each other and expressed readiness to assist Mariupol citizents in purification of authorities.
