In Constitution Square near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a rally is held in support of the commercial blockade of the occupied territories of Donbas, QHA correspondent reported from the scene. It brought together representatives of the "Ukrainian association of patriots" from different regions of Ukraine, the ATO veterans, mothers of Ukrainian prisoners of war.



About 500 protesters gathered and people keep coming from the Mariinsky Park. Near the fence enclosing the entrance to the Parliament building, activists are holding placards with the demands to adopt the law on occupied territories, which would make it impossible to trade with the terrorists and create a temporary commission of inquiry to verify the bilateral trade.

About a hundred National Guard officers guard the entrance to the Verkhovna Rada. Today protesters expected about five thousand participants.

Earlier, February 20, supporters of the ORDLO blockade held a rally near the stele at the Independence Square in the city center.

On Sunday January 19, during the events in honor of the third anniversary of the Revolution of Dignity, near the stele of Independence on Maidan, the OUN soldiers and volunteer battalions organized the so-called popular assembly Veche in support of the trade blockade of the uncontrolled territories of Donbas. Ukrainian MPs from the faction of "Selfhelp" Semen Semenchenko and Yegor Sobolev spoke from the stage, as well as individual deputy Volodymyr Parasyuk.
