The Head of the Civil Corps "Azov-Crimea" Stanislav Krasnov decided to cease his hunger strike, according to a statement the Committee for Liberation of Stanislav Krasnov posted to Facebook.
- I cease the hunger strike on the 28th day after I went on it. I do it given the appeal by the Ukraine’s Hero Stepan Ilkovich Khmara and MPs Igor Mosiychuk and Andrew Lozovoy, reads a letter.
Krasnov also said he took this decision due to a "threat to use punitive psychiatry when he is no longer physically able to keep a hunger strike."
According to Krasnov, so far his mental condition is good, and the hunger strike turned out to be as difficult as he expected.
April 28, the activists of the Azov Civil Corps jointly with the OUN Volunteer Battalion held a rally outside the Ukraine’s General Security Service in Kiev in support of Stanislav Krasnov, the arrested Head of the Azov-Crimea Civil Corps.
