During a court hearing on Monday Stanislav Krasnov, Head of the Civil Corps "Azov-Crimea,” who is suspected of high treason, announced a dry hunger strike, reports Ukrainian Pravda.
- I do not drink water the last days... I really feel bad, I have a headache, my vision has deteriorated, said Krasnov.
As of now, Krasnov has not drunk water for 3 days and has been on the hunger strike for 13 days.
Shevchenko District Court in Kyiv allowed the doctors to examine the suspect and then went on to consider the Prosecutor’s petition to extend the detention period of Krasnov.
March, 21 the Shevchenko District Court in Kyiv granted the request of a prosecutor Andrey Svatko to transfer Krasnov from house arrest to remand in custody until April, 26. Krasnov confirmed he had contacted the foreign intelligence services, but asserts it was in the interests of Ukraine.
