According to Oleksandr Tkachuk, head of the SSU chief of staff, the number of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine has decreased slightly due to implementation of the Minsk agreements by Ukrainian side.
“As of today, there are around 6,000 Russian cadre men in the territory of Donbas, according to our data,” Ukrinform reports Tkachuk as saying at the briefing on Tuesday, March 15.
At the same time Oleksandr Tkachuk noted that the number of armed bandit groups in ATO area stands at approximately 40,000 people.
It was reported earlier by QHA that the President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Michael Turner wrote a letter to Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin saying he deplores Russia’s failure to implement Minsk agreements.
