The occupants have increased the intensity of the movement of military equipment in the annexed Crimea to demonstrate their military power to the locals, Zair Smedlyaev, head of the Central Election Commission of the Crimean Tatar Qurultai, said on air of 112 Ukraine.
“Psychosis is felt in the Crimea. Military equipment is moving in different regions of the Crimea, and it is done so that people could see it: in broad daylight, in large settlements, and cities. So, it's an ostentatious action,” he said.
Regarding the absence of any reaction of the self-proclaimed authorities to the movement of the occupants’ equipment, Smedlyaev noted:
“Local authorities have nothing to do with this. They are absolute shallow persons who do not mean anything there. They will just try to do a serious look, if all control.”
It was reported earlier that the activists of InformNapalm volunteer group saw the moving through the streets of the occupied Kerch anti-aircraft missile system S-300VM Antey-2500, which is designed to counter ballistic missiles of small and medium-range (up to 2500 km) and defeat tactical aircraft and strategic aviation.
