Ukrainian border guards have recorded a decrease in passenger traffic at the administrative border with the occupied Crimea, said the assistant to Chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan, according to 112-Ukraine.
“A decrease in passenger traffic is observed at the administrative border with Crimea. Daily, an average of 5.5 thousand and 1.2 thousand vehicles cross the administrative border with Russia-annexed Crimea, which is significantly less than the same period last year,” he said.
As QHA reported earlier, the Russian border guards state to have arrested a 34-year-old citizen of Ukraine at the checkpoint "Dzhankoy" (temporarily occupied by Russian Crimea). Reportedly, the man carried literature that is considered extremist in Russia.
