Oraza Bayram(Eid al Fitr holiday) in Simferopol, scheduled for July 28, will be conducted in the format of children holiday, organizers of the bayram announced, QHA correspondent reports.
The bayram will be arranged in Maryino district of Simferopol, district of compact residence of Crimean Tatars.
It comes almost a month as Crimean Tatar Flag Day, June 26, was also held on the skirts of Simferopol, in the area of compact residence of Crimean Tatars, amid authorities ban to arrange the holiday in the city center.
The holiday, organized by local youth together with ‘Ayan’ religious community, is meant for children under 12 years old. There are contests, games and performance of Crimean Tatar ‘Tatli Ses’ show participants in the frameworks of the bayram.
June 25, Crimean Parliament declared Muslim Qurban and Oraza bayrams official holidays in Crimea. Orthodox Easter and Trinity were also declared official holidays.
Note: Oraza Bayram is one of the two most important religious holidays celebrated by Muslims worldwide that marks the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting.
