Sevastopol drying up of water supplies for the city

The reservoir, which feeds Sevastopol, is filled with less than half of its usual volume.

The water comes to Sevastopol from reserves of the Chernorechensky reservoir, which currently has less than half of its full capacity, informed Nikolai Pereguda, the "Director" of the local water utility "Vodokanal" on air the Informational Channel of Sevastopol.

“As of today 30 million 240 thousand cubic meters of water are accumulated in Chernorechensky reservoir. The same time last year, the water reserves had 15 million cubic meters was more,” he said.

The maximum reservoir capacity is 64.2 million cubic meters. Earlier, the occupation authorities refused to transfer water to Sevastopol from the Belbek Valley.
