The State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine has updated the data on internally displaced persons from the occupied territories and people who had to leave their homes due to the deterioration of situation in ATO zone. The relevant information was posted on the SES’s Facebook page.

Since the beginning of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in eastern Ukraine, a total of 1,029,108 people have moved from the temporarily occupied territory and ATO areas to other regions. Among them: 169,408 children and 498,677 people with disabilities and elderly residents. In particular, there are 1,006,966 displaced persons from Donetsk and Lugansk regions and 22,142 people from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. 

The SES of Ukraine also reports that information on the available accommodation in every region can be obtained by contacting the SES regional headquarters.
