QHA - The President of Georgia resents the decision to restore the monument to Stalin in Gori, which he considers "a spit into the souls of the perished Georgian war heroes”, informs “Segodnya” newspaper.
"It is anti-national and anti-state action that pushes Georgia to international isolation. Restoration of the monument to Stalin in Gori is a spit into the souls of the perished Georgian war heroes”, said the President.
It is known that the monument in Gori was dismantled in the summer of 2010. By the end of this year the six-meter high monument is planned to be placed on the territory of the museum of Joseph Stalin in Gori.
